I don’t tend to share much personal stuff on social media, but apparently, I do have an urge to share something. However, I fear what I have to offer might be incredibly boring, which is why I’ve resisted sharing it in the usual places, forcing you to see it there. At least by sticking it here, you had to come and find it yourself. More fool you. So, here we are, on my blog This isn’t actually my first blog. Back in college, I was told that creating a blog could help with university applications. Ironically, I think I was the only one in the class to actually make one, and the only one who didn’t go to university. hanging out like it’s the 90s.

Starting a blog might seem an odd choice for someone who isn’t great with the written wordDespite having a father who taught English, it was the one subject I was always pretty naff at. so please don’t judge too harshly. If this begins to resemble a picture book, now you know why. I don’t really have any expectations of what I’ll be sharing here. Some posts might feature photos and stories from trips; others might focus on music. There will be no regular schedule. I’ll just post whenever the mood strikes.

Most of the time, I work with computers, and at the weekends I’m usually playing drums. Other than that, I’m into tech, photography, running, hiking, travel. So, expect to see a bit of all that.

Oh, why Phat Snaps? The name came from describing the sound of a snare drum in a song to a friend.I can no longer remember the song. Sorry. But oh, that snap was phat. The phrase stuck with me.
